About me

Welcome to Yoga for Everyday Life! – a place I would like to share with my friends and  students.

Anatomy training for yoga teachers April 2011

The blog is intended mostly for those  who share interest in yoga and  meditative practice. It will also include my passion  or healthy addiction ;-) for nature, music, poetry and philosophy

I have ever never imagined I would teach yoga. Ever. I have always been – and still am – confident in my body strength, I still love running and pushing my physical limits, and I still can only dream of long muscle fibers…. No way – I come from a line of strong women and we did not have any ballet dancers in my family…yet!

Was it a challenge that attracted me? I do not know, but I found myself practicing more, finding teachers I like , and then, in one of the hardest periods of my life, actually signing for a Yoga Fit training, which opened the door for teaching.

me left with Victor VanKooten and my yoga friends.

From YMCA to Yoga Fit, from YogaFit to a renown Rochester yoga studio “Open Sky” where I completed 200 hours teachers training and continue to attend two classes a week for three years now.
