Thank you all who came today for our “farewell to summer” yoga. Considering the temperatures today, the farewell was a bit too early! I did not take too many pictures (only 2-3) and this is the best what I did with them.
This is the moment when most people ventured in the water to explore balancing poses we first practiced in sand – “1/2 moon” and three variations of “tree” pose.
For the next one, I could not resist some hearts! A little bit of love to all of us!
Your practice for the rest of the summer:
1) a balancing pose somewhere outside. It can be your backyard, a playground….. Make a sense of it – a tree pose in the woods, a “dancer” pose in the open, or any other pose that comes to you.
2) an inversion at a place where you have a good view. An inversion can be a simple forward fold, a wide legged forward fold or a head balance. The focus is on the inverted. Please open your eyes wide and observe how the world is standing on its head.
3) listening and hearing – early in the morning or in the evening/at night. stop for 2-3 minutes and listen to all sounds that come your way.
