Living someone else’s life

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary”

Before we find out who sent this message to the world, let’s explore  this message in some yoga  poses. This time they will be about finding your length:

From a mountain pose, you will reach out and grow, and then relax in a forward fold. Repeat a couple of times focusing in growing the lean long standing pose.

From there venture into Warrior 3:

Then add:

Whichever option you choose and try, settle in your breath. Slow steady inhale and slow steady exhale.

You will be in the place where you will hear just your breath. All other voices will fade away, so stay in this space and explore it.

End your practice with another tall mountain pose, 3-5 breath cycles with eyes closed if inside, or eyes open if you are outside.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. “
